You will be responsible for the preparation, cutting, and presentation of meat products, while providing personalized service to our customers.

• Your responsibilities as a Butcher:
• Cut the different meats sold by your department according to the required techniques for each one;
• Butcher and prepare the different meats by packaging them according to the standards established by the meat department;
• Weigh, label, and display the different prepared meats according to the established standards;
• Receive and count the merchandise destined for sale, such as meats or any other product sold by the meat department, ordered by the department manager or assistant manager, and ensure they are properly placed in the warehouse, refrigerator, freezer, or any other assigned storage area;
• Establish a production list based on priorities;
• Be responsible for customer service in your department;
• Comply with government food safety regulations;
• Maintain the cleanliness of your department;
• Wear the required safety equipment;
• Perform any other tasks as required by your immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• DEP in butchery;
• Two (2) years of experience in a similar position is an asset.
