Position: Receiving and Shipping Clerk

Jefo is currently seeking a Receiving and Shipping Clerk.

Location: Saint-Hyacinthe

Salary: To be discussed

Hours: 40 hours / week

Shift: Day

Status: Full-time permanent (schedule: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

Main Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift
• Perform receiving activities in accordance with established procedures
• Verify the accuracy and condition of received inputs against purchase orders
• Report any non-conformities, when necessary
• Ensure safe storage practices
• Take samples according to standards
• Store samples in the designated space
• Gather products for orders
• Verify the accuracy of shipments against shipping orders
• Ensure the quality of the product and its packaging
• Inspect trailers before shipping
• Ensure that work equipment is always in good condition
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Required Education and Experience

• Completed high school diploma
• Valid forklift operator certification
• Experience of six (6) to twelve (12) months in the food or pharmaceutical industry will be considered an asset
