Under the authority of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Management Agent – Organizational Health Section performs advisory, analytical, planning, coordination, and support functions for managers and various instances of the organization in the fields related to human resources management, organizational health, and workplace health and safety risk prevention.

The person holding the position exercises a cross-cutting mandate across all Champlain Group facilities and at Villa-Medica Rehabilitation Hospital. They support managers in identifying organizational health issues, analyzing complex situations, and implementing interventions tailored to the realities of different environments.

They contribute to the development, implementation, application, and follow-up of programs, policies, procedures, and activities related to prevention, workplace psychological health, quality of life at work, and maintaining a healthy and secure work environment.

They act as a resource person for management and their managers in supporting the implementation of practices that promote health, employee mobilization, and job retention. As part of their duties, they may be called upon to travel to different facilities when situations require more personalized support, on-site presence, or coordinated intervention with teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a professional advisor to managers and management in matters of organizational health, prevention, and human resources management.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the continuous improvement plan in organizational health to ensure the achievement of Accreditation Canada criteria.
  • Advise and support managers in identifying issues that may impact employee health, safety, well-being, and mobilization.
  • Participate in the analysis of organizational needs and formulate recommendations tailored to the realities of the sectors.
  • Collaborate in the development, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation of programs, policies, procedures, tools, and activities related to organizational health.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of the establishment's prevention program in collaboration with relevant partners.
  • Contribute to the identification, analysis, and prevention of psychosocial risks, particularly in relation to workplace climate, civility, interpersonal relationships, stress, and situations affecting psychological health.
  • Support managers in implementing preventive actions to promote healthy, secure, and respectful work environments.
  • Participate in the design, organization, and animation of awareness-raising, training, and support activities in matters of organizational health, prevention, and best practices in management.
  • Conduct or collaborate on organizational diagnostics, work situation analyses, consultations, or continuous improvement, particularly in relation to the accreditation approach.
  • Perform or coordinate workstation analyses, particularly from an ergonomic perspective, and formulate recommendations aimed at preventing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and improving working conditions.
  • Collaborate with managers and relevant partners in identifying preventive or corrective measures to reduce risks to employee health and safety.
  • Support managers and employees in return-to-work and job retention procedures to promote a durable, secure, and adapted reintegration.
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders involved in functional limitation files, accommodations, and work capacity maintenance.
  • Receive, analyze, and follow up on reports and complaints regarding psychological harassment in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and legal obligations.
  • Support managers in analyzing complex situations affecting workplace climate and recommend appropriate intervention paths.
  • Participate in the analysis of relevant organizational health indicators, particularly those related to absenteeism, disabilities, occupational injuries, workplace climate, and mobilization issues.
  • Produce analyses, professional opinions, and recommendations for managers and the Human Resources Department.
  • Collaborate with various sectors of the Human Resources Department and with internal and external partners to ensure an integrated approach in organizational health.
  • Participate in various committees, projects, or working groups related to their field of expertise.
  • Maintain a watch on recognized practices and applicable legal obligations in their area of activity.
  • Perform any other tasks related to the exercise of their duties.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in an appropriate university discipline, such as:
  • Industrial relations;
  • Human resources management;
  • Organizational psychology;
  • Organizational development;
  • Human resources management administration;
  • Occupational health
  • Or any other relevant discipline.
  • Additional training in a field related to organizational health is an asset.
  • Training in occupational hygiene is also an asset.

Experience / Knowledge

  • Significant experience in an advisory role in human resources, organizational health, prevention, or occupational health and safety.
  • Experience in supporting managers in complex situations.
  • Relevant experience in the development, implementation, or follow-up of prevention programs and activities.
  • Significant experience in identifying various workplace risks and monitoring the application of corrective measures.
  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Act (an asset).
  • Experience in the health and social services network (an asset).
