We are looking for a skilled Curry Chef to craft delicious, traditional curries and other Indian-Pakistani dishes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents, contribute to a lively kitchen environment, and delight our customers with exceptional food. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Duties

• Prepare and cook authentic Indian-Pakistani curries and related dishes with precision and flair
• Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently
• Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety regulations and hygiene standards
• Serve dishes promptly and courteously to customers in the restaurant or during take-out orders
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
• Follow recipes accurately while adding creative touches to enhance flavor profiles
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or food industry setting
• Strong knowledge of Indian-Pakistani cuisine, especially curry preparation techniques
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred
• Multilingual communication skills in English, French, and preferably Hindi are advantageous
