Warehouse Worker

We are looking to fill a permanent Warehouse Worker position for our warehouse located at 700 avenue Beaumont in Montreal.

Under the supervision of the Supervisor, the person will be responsible for:

• Driving electric Raymond forklifts standing with a retractable fork in narrow aisles.
• Loading and unloading materials into trucks/trailers, dealing with drivers, ensuring the receipt and validity of the carrier's documentation.
• Checking the conformity of received goods against the purchase order and placing them in the warehouse.
• Preparing shipments: participating in the setup of ready-to-ship boxes on pallets, ensuring the packaging and stability of pallets, and welcoming carriers during the collection.
• Maintaining work areas clean and well-organized.
• Assembling furniture and helping with the delivery of orders to our customers.
• Participating in operational improvement tasks.
• Preparing orders and other related tasks.
• Required Skills and Experience

Hold a high school diploma and a forklift standing competency card (minimum one year of experience as a forklift operator).

Familiarity with computer systems in a warehouse and experience with embedded technology in the forklift (barcode reader, warehouse management system...).

Concerned about safety and cleanliness. Quick and precise.

Friendly, courteous, available, and versatile.

This position is available full-time, 36.25 hours per week, which can go up to 40 hours per week, mainly in the summer.
