About the Position

We are seeking a Senior SAP Business Analyst specializing in Supply Chain and Logistics to contribute to a strategic initiative aimed at optimizing planning, procurement, and logistics processes.

The mandate involves analyzing the current process landscape, identifying improvement opportunities, and proposing solutions to fully leverage SAP capabilities and available data.

The ideal candidate possesses strong functional expertise in Supply Chain, hands-on experience with SAP modules related to procurement and logistics, and excellent ability to translate business needs into processes and functional requirements.

Technical Requirements and Competencies

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a business analyst or functional manager in a supply chain environment
• Experience in at least one major IT development and implementation project affecting logistics and procurement
• Strong experience in Supply Chain activities, including:
• + Planning
• + Procurement
• + Logistics
• + Process optimization
• Demonstrated experience with SAP procurement and logistics modules
• Excellent experience in business process modeling and transformation
• Experience in translating business needs into functional and technical requirements
• Ability to define and document business rules
• Experience with user acceptance testing
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
• Ability to work with multiple teams and business sectors
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Assets

• Experience with SAP MM, WM and/or SD
• Experience with SAP IBP
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud
• Knowledge of BPMN
• Experience in implementing or evolving an S&OP process

Objectives and Deliverables

• Contribute to the implementation of the S&OP process
• Optimize planning, procurement, and logistics processes
• Maximize the use of existing SAP functionalities
• Enhance data utilization in Supply Chain processes
• Model current and future business processes
• Define business requirements and rules
• Ensure alignment between operational needs and technological solutions
• Support teams in implementing and adopting changes

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze planning, procurement, and logistics processes
• Contribute to the setup of the S&OP process
• Model and document detailed business processes
• Identify gaps, pain points, and optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with business teams, partners, and IT
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Define and document business rules
• Evaluate proposed solutions and validate their alignment with business objectives
• Participate in process and procedure change implementation
• Define test cases and participate in user acceptance testing
• Contribute to change management strategy, including communication and training
• Facilitate the transition of stakeholders to new processes
• Support the project manager in tracking and reporting activities
