We are seeking a Senior Canadian Tax Analyst responsible for tax provisions, tax compliance, and tax process optimization in a complex IFRS environment.

When your actions lead to success

• Prepare tax provisions and tax notes for Canadian legal entities and the consolidated;
• Participate in the complete process of preparing Canadian income tax returns;
• Prepare reconciliations between tax provisions and the previous year's income tax returns ("true-up");
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and Regulation 52-109;
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement and automation of tax processes to enhance operational performance and support the evolution of the function;
• Support the identification and implementation of tax optimization opportunities;
• Participate in special projects including reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions;
• Respond to ad hoc tax requests.

When your expertise propels us

• Hold a university degree in accounting;
• Hold a professional accounting designation (CPA);
• Have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in tax compliance and tax accounting;
• Excellent knowledge of Canadian tax laws for corporations;
• Tax training: In-Depth Tax Course from the ICCA or a graduate diploma in taxation;
• Proficiency in using common computer tools, such as Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel knowledge;
• Knowledge of Taxprep;
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Longview, an asset;
• Bilingual: French and English.
