What will you contribute to the team?

• Lead a team of integration specialists responsible for the design of Bombardier's product portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal and external suppliers.
• Work with each platform heads to align on priorities and decisions.
• Manage technical work statements.
• Manage engineering budget and department expenses.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and formulate salary review recommendations.
• Participate in management meetings and organize department governance.
• Communicate effectively and support decisions and messages to the executive team.
• Ensure the management system is in place to organize and control tasks and priorities, with appropriate levels of visibility on issues and risks.
• Support employees in achieving their goals and deliverables by providing mentorship, coaching, and training on technical and general skills.
• Provide support and coordination for production and in-service aircraft.

How will you thrive in this role?

• You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline. Aerospace specialty is an asset.
• You have a minimum of 20 years of work experience with multidisciplinary and technically complex projects in the aerospace industry, with at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• You are familiar with computer-aided design tools.
• You are knowledgeable about CEM.
• You have applied experience in multidisciplinary optimization design concepts.
• You are knowledgeable about manufacturing methods.
• You have strong people management and leadership qualities with the ability to mobilize and foster a teamwork environment within interdisciplinary teams, facilitating discussions and resolving issues to achieve company objectives.
• You have demonstrated leadership behaviors that support the priority given to people, teamwork, value teamwork, and the willingness to achieve excellence in performance while maintaining a winning attitude.
• You are proactive, results-oriented, and innovative in a business improvement perspective.
• You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus without formal authority.
• You must speak both English and French fluently.
