MINE GEOLOGIST Permanent Position Number of People to Hire 1 Reference GEO26-04 Work Location is in Nunavik Application Deadline September 3, 2026

The work is on a 14/14 rotation (14 days worked followed by 14 days off, with access to the site of the type Fly in – Fly-out). The normal work schedule is 11 hours per day on a 4-week paid rotation, which includes 2 weeks worked (77 hours of work per week, 7 days per week) followed by 2 weeks of paid leave. Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the senior mine geologist, the mine geologist will be responsible for:

• Assisting his supervisor in all activities of the Company's operations;
• Working in underground mines by visiting the mineral extraction sectors and daily monitoring of production activities;
• Assisting the senior production geologist in supervising the work of geology technicians responsible for controlling grades in underground mines;
• Validating the tonnages and grades of mineral waste dumps on ROM pads;
• Assisting the project geologist in planning underground definition drilling;
• Monitoring the description of underground drill core samples and analysis results;
• Assisting production engineering and mining operations with work related to production geology (indicating mineralization zones, drilling pattern sampling planning, advising on structures and geological characteristics of deposits, on the stability of underground walls and structures, etc.);
• Supervising the processing, integration, and interpretation of production drilling data as well as the design of underground ore packages and excavation solids;
• Performing any other tasks that the senior production geologist deems necessary to ensure the smooth running of mine activities.
• Audit and update of the production database, follow-up of requested corrections

Qualifications

• University degree (Bachelor's) in geosciences (geology or geological engineering);
• Member in good standing of the Order of Geologists or Engineers of Quebec;
• Preferably 2 to 3 years of experience in underground production geology;
• Be proficient in verbal and written communication;
• Possess a valid general explosives permit;
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required.

Assets

• Knowledge of Deswik, leapfrog, and Geotic software;
• Training on Mining Modules (1-7 FMTM)
• Bilingualism (French, functional English);
