Warehouse Supervisor Evening Shift

Agropur is seeking a warehouse supervisor for the evening shift to join its team in Montreal.

The warehouse supervisor plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the reception, storage, packaging of products, and preparation of orders.

The working hours are: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

• Salary scale 004: $73,000 to $91,200 (The base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills relevant to the position.)

How you will contribute to collective success

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and ensure that employees always adopt safe work practices.
• Actively participate in maintaining regulatory, quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Manage daily activities to execute the weekly plan based on received orders and ensure that quantitative and qualitative objectives are met.
• Monitor employee performance and provide the necessary support to help them achieve their goals.
• Manage distribution center activities, including hiring, training, maintenance plan tracking, and participation in various committees.
• Enforce the collective agreement.
• Lead team meetings at the beginning of each work shift.
• Identify risks and improvement opportunities, analyze them, and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Conduct investigations following incidents or accidents and propose appropriate action plans.
• Maintain a positive work environment by promoting participative management, effective communication, and continuous improvement.
• Support the management of all buildings, grounds, and equipment of the distribution center.

• Education in operations management, logistics, administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision.
• Experience in a unionized environment, an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with SAP or another similar ERP system.
