Location: Candiac, QC – CHANEL

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Contract: Full-time (40 hours/week) and Permanent

Your role at Chanel:

The Shipping Supervisor plays a key role within our warehouse. He/She ensures the proper organization of operations related to the shipment of goods, ensuring the respect of deadlines, the quality of preparations and customer satisfaction. He/She coordinates the teams, optimizes the logistics processes and ensures the conformity of the shipments according to the internal and regulatory standards. His/Her expertise allows to fluidify the flow of goods and to ensure an effective and reliable service.

• Supervise the activities of preparation, verification and packaging of orders to ensure their conformity and quality.
• Plan, coordinate and follow up the shipment of goods according to the operational priorities and delivery deadlines established.
• Ensure the management and follow-up of the relationships with the carriers and logistics partners to optimize performance and service quality.
• Control the conformity of the shipping documents.
• Collaborate in the optimization of the shipping processes to improve operational efficiency, service quality and cost control.
• Lead and motivate the team members by fostering collaboration, supporting their development and encouraging continuous improvement.
• Promote a safe working environment by ensuring the respect of health and safety rules, intervening quickly if necessary and developing a prevention culture.
• Collaborate with other departments (stock, reception, customer service).
• Monitor performance indicators and collaborate in the analysis of results.

How you will contribute to the role

• Minimum of a secondary 5 completed.
• Forklift driving.
• Significant experience in the management of shipments or logistics, ideally in a warehouse environment.
• Proven skills in organization and team management.
• Mastery of computer tools notably MS Office and logistics management software (ERP, WMS, etc.).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
• Customer service mindset and concern for quality.
• Rigor, methodology and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of regulations related to transport and shipment.
• Ability to analyze performance indicators and propose improvements.
• Bilingualism (French/English) required to communicate effectively with international partners, customers and carriers.
• Availability and flexibility according to the needs of the activity.
• Schedule:
• Monday to Thursday, from 7:30 AM to 4:45 PM
• Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:15 PM
