The carpenter or carpenter primarily performs carpentry work involving the fabrication, modification, repair, and maintenance of buildings, equipment parts, furniture, etc. This person is also called upon to perform work related to space planning.

*SPECIFICALLY, THE PERSON HOLDING THIS POSITION:*

Determines the steps to be taken and evaluates the materials needed to carry out the work.

Reads and interprets plans and diagrams, communicates with requesters, and visits the sites.

Installs, assembles, disassembles, and transports scaffolding, ladders, and cranes.

When required, moves furniture, appliances, and objects for the execution of the work.

Carpentry

Performs repair and renovation work on buildings: Constructs formwork.

Erects the framework of walls, floors, and roofs, etc.

Installs interior/exterior coverings and insulation.

Installs doors and windows.

Constructs subfloors.

Performs all kinds of demolition.

Erects walls, partitions, partitions, and ceilings using timber framing or metal lathing and installs gypsum board panels.

Constructs and installs suspended ceilings in tiles or special products.

Prepares and installs all kinds of lattices. o Constructs wooden stairs.

Installs parquet.

Installs built-in furniture such as counters, cabinets, and others.
