We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized International Distribution – Account Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the appropriate leader, this role is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service levels.
The ideal candidate has experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations and thrives in a fast-paced environment where managing multiple priorities is essential.
Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized International Shipping Account Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong logistics and supply chain experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of international shipping regulations and trade compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor domestic and international inbound and outbound shipments.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
- Support inventory management and inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation and ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and applicable transportation and trade regulations.
- Monitor shipping performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist with customs clearance activities and international trade compliance requirements.

Qualifications
- When your expertise drives us: Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or shipping coordination.
- Hands-on experience with shipment tracking, carrier management, and freight coordination.
- Experience with both domestic and international shipping operations.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics/shipping software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Incoterms®, HS Tariff Codes, VAT, and Free Trade Agreements.
- Experience with customs clearance procedures and international trade compliance.
- Understanding of import/export documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with ERP and WMS systems and inventory management tools is considered an asset.
