The Training Promotion Agent supports employers in the institutional-commercial and industrial sectors in their workforce training plans. They provide a service throughout Quebec and enable employers to access the Fund for the Training of Construction Workers (FFSIC).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and participate in promotional activities aimed at encouraging employers and their employees to enroll in courses developed by the Quebec Construction Commission or any other course recognized by the Construction Industry Training Fund (FFIC) and offered by other organizations.
- Advise and support employers in the procedures for developing in-company training courses to meet more specific needs.
- Participate in the development of various communication means to increase participation in training activities (internal and external documents, newsletters, communication plans, etc.).
- Keep the Labor Relations team informed of the training needs submitted by employers.
REQUIREMENTS
- Hold a college diploma or equivalent in an appropriate field.
- Possess knowledge of the construction industry and its regulations, as well as the organizational structures that compose it in terms of professional training.
- Available to travel throughout Quebec and be present in remote northern regions.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle required.
- Knowledge of First Nations and Inuit communities, combined with an understanding of the social, cultural, and economic realities of the North, is an asset. Proficiency in English and the official languages of First Nations and Inuit is an asset.

- Ability to establish contacts with employers and other stakeholders in the construction industry.
