About EarlyReveal
EarlyReveal is a 100% Canadian-owned company helping expecting parents find out their baby's sex from 7 weeks, with samples analyzed at our own lab in Laval, Quebec. We sell direct-to-consumers, run a bilingual brand across Canada with a special strength in Quebec since we're located in the province. With clinic partnerships across Canada, we're the #1 choice for expecting parents who are looking for more information about their baby's development (outside of the typical medical appointments).
The role
You are our first full-time marketing owner, reporting directly to the CEO. You inherit working channels, a documented growth plan. Your job is to own the numbers and compound them.
What you'll own (five pillars)
1. Content creation & social channels — this is the heart of the role. Create and publish the content on our social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest): short-form video, reels, stories, captions, and community engagement, in English and French. Own the editorial calendar. Run our UGC/creator seeding program (briefs, whitelisting, usage rights) so creator content feeds both our socials and our ad accounts.
2. Pinterest ads — the one paid channel you run hands-on end-to-end: strategy, creative, budget, and results against a strict CPA benchmark. Pinterest is a creative-led platform and it's yours to prove out.
3. Brand voice & channel unification — own the messaging playbook that keeps every surface speaking one language, in both languages: ads, emails, social, site, and app. Work hand-in-hand with our paid-media team (who run Meta + Google): you brief them on messaging and creative direction, supply them ad-ready assets from your content engine, run a weekly sync, and make sure what a customer sees in an ad matches what they read in an email and hear on our socials.
4. Analytics & reporting — own the weekly scorecard: revenue, social growth and engagement, Pinterest CPA, email/SMS revenue share, content shipped, tests launched (the paid contractor reports their numbers into the same scorecard). Numbers reviewed together weekly; you bring the story and the next move.
What success looks like
- 90 days: the weekly scorecard is live and you're running it; the content engine is shipping consistently in both languages; the workflow (briefs in, assets out, one voice) is humming; Pinterest is live.
- 6 months: measurable contribution to our revenue-growth plan; Pinterest proven or killed with data; owned channels (email/SMS/referral) at 20%+ of revenue; a social presence that visibly sounds and looks like one brand.
- You
- 1-3+ years in consumer/DTC marketing (agency, brand, or serious personal projects) with a portfolio of content you personally created; show us the reels, the posts, the campaigns, and what they did (growth, engagement, revenue), not just activities
- A genuine content creator: comfortable shooting, editing (CapCut or similar), and writing captions that sound human in French and English (see justification below)
- Hands-on with an ESP (HubSpot/Klaviyo) and social platforms natively; Pinterest ads experience a strong asset (or the appetite to own it fast); GA4 literate
- A strong collaborator: you've worked with agencies/contractors and kept the work flowing and the voice unified
- AI-native: you already use AI tools daily and want more leverage, not less
- Self-directed to a fault: you've shipped things nobody asked you to ship, and you communicate progress in writing without being chased
- Comfortable in a regulated/health-adjacent category (we never make medical claims; you'll work within clear brand rules)
- How we hire (designed for mutual confidence)
- Apply with a short written case: one campaign you owned end-to-end; budget, actions, numbers, what you'd change.
- Structured interview (same questions for everyone, scored) focused on autonomous ownership.
- Simulation campaign (we want to see how you work and your creativity, have fun with it!)
About EarlyReveal
EarlyReveal is a 100% Canadian company that helps expecting parents discover their baby's sex from 7 weeks of pregnancy, with samples analyzed in our own lab in Laval, Quebec. We sell directly to consumers and build a bilingual brand across Canada, with a particular strength in Quebec, where we are based. Thanks to our partnerships with clinics across Canada, we are the first choice for expecting parents who want to learn more about their baby's development, beyond typical medical appointments.
The role
You are our first full-time marketing owner, reporting directly to the CEO. You inherit working channels and a documented growth plan. Your job is to take ownership of the numbers and grow them.
What you will own (five pillars)
1. Content creation and social channels — this is the heart of the role. Create and publish content on our social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest): short videos, reels, stories, captions, and community engagement, in both French and English. Manage the editorial calendar. Run our UGC/creator seeding program (briefs, usage rights, ad permissions) so that creator content feeds both our social media and our ad accounts.
2. Pinterest ads — the only paid channel you manage from start to finish: strategy, creative, budget, and results, measured against a strict CPA target. Pinterest is a creativity-driven platform, and it's up to you to prove its effectiveness.
3. Brand voice and channel unification — oversee the messaging guide that ensures every touchpoint speaks in one voice, in both languages: ads, emails, social media, website, and app. Work closely with our paid media team (who manage Meta and Google): you brief them on messaging and creative direction, provide them with ad-ready assets from your content engine, hold a weekly sync, and ensure that what a customer sees in an ad matches what they read in an email and hear on our social media.
4. Analytics and reporting — oversee the weekly dashboard: revenue, social growth and engagement, Pinterest CPA, email/SMS revenue share, content published, tests launched (the paid media team reports their numbers into the same dashboard). Numbers are reviewed together weekly; you provide the story and the next steps.
