Under the supervision of the Pricing Director, the Financial Analyst conducts financial analyses of group insurance plans, evaluates renewals, and supports advisors in developing strategic recommendations for clients.
Main Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst are
- Analyze renewals and the experience of insurance plans.
- Perform projections and financial analyses.
- Prepare and coordinate requests for proposals with insurers.
- Compare market offers and formulate recommendations.
- Support advisors in financing strategies and cost management.
- Participate in improving pricing tools and processes.
- Qualifications and Skills Required for the Financial Analyst Position are:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in group insurance, pricing, underwriting, or finance.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with financial data.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, primarily Excel, Adobe.
- Good knowledge of financing mechanisms and renewals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- The ability to speak English is desired to communicate with certain partners, suppliers, and/or clients across Canada.
