Technical .NET Developer – Azure – Data

We are looking for technical developers/technical leads with strong expertise in .NET, Azure, and data solutions to support and evolve critical applications for our clients. In this role, the associate acts as a technical reference, contributes to defining technological orientations, and guides teams in delivering robust, secure, and business-aligned solutions.

Working in diverse environments, you collaborate closely with development, architecture, data, product, and quality assurance teams to ensure consistency in practices, quality of deliverables, and performance of solutions.

Functions and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications and services (.NET Core / .NET Framework)
• Drive the evolution of the technology stack, particularly in cloud and data areas, and contribute to defining the technological roadmap
• Lead the design of data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) in collaboration with stakeholders
• Actively participate in technical discussions and cross-cutting initiatives related to data and architecture
• Ensure consistency in development practices and seamless integration of application components
• Contribute to defining, implementing, and improving data policies and processes
• Ensure compliance with best practices in security, software quality, and compliance
• Validate the Definition of Ready for user stories and ensure delivery according to the Definition of Done
• Perform code reviews, ensuring maintainability and quality of deliverables
• Design and execute automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Collaborate with QA, product, and architecture teams to ensure effective delivery according to sprint goals
• Act as a mentor and technical reference, guiding more junior developers in their progression

Qualities Required for Success in This Role

• 6 to 10 years or more of software development experience, including several years in a senior or lead technical role
• Excellent mastery of the Microsoft ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET Framework)
• Solid experience with Azure services, including: Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Databricks, Power Platform, and Azure DevOps
• Experience in data integration and ETL (e.g., SSIS)
• Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical)
• Good understanding of cloud architectures, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent knowledge of data security principles, software quality, and DevOps practices
• Technical leadership, analytical thinking, and ability to influence technological decisions
• Bilingualism in French and English required to collaborate with English-speaking teams and partners

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Salary decisions depend on the particulars of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $55,000 and $105,000. This position is a future opportunity.
