Under the direction of the Accounts Receivable Manager, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for the daily processing of tenant deposits and payments, the proper application of funds to accounts and invoices, and the tracking of unapplied payments. He/she will ensure the accuracy of recordings in Yardi and will work closely with the Accounts Receivable and Real Estate Operations teams to ensure effective and rigorous management of collections.

• Enter all bank deposits in Yardi for all tenants.
• Work alongside the Customer Accounts Coordinator to ensure that all new funds are applied to the correct tenants/invoices.
• Ensure that checks are distributed daily to technicians who scan them for the bank and in Yardi.
• Conduct research on all PANAs (unapplied payments) to be able to correctly apply them to tenants' accounts/invoices.

Qualifications

• A college diploma in accounting or a related field.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Good knowledge of Yardi accounting systems (an asset).
