Load Controller (Full Time & Part Time) - YUL Emirates

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the secure preparation and effective loading of our clients' aircraft for departure.
• When required, move the cargo of transit flights in accordance with aircraft weight and balance requirements.
• Verify the NOTOC in accordance with current regulations.
• Be proactive in all aspects of the load control file, including flight plans, meteorological data (MET), and PIB.
• Provide the appropriate PNL to the flight system for recording purposes.
• Ensure that the appropriate versions of the holds, crew, and catering service (pantry) match the flight being handled.
• Adjust service weights as needed.
• Obtain freight weights and determine the unloading order in accordance with carrier requirements.
• Calculate and transmit the estimated zero fuel weight (EZFW) message.
• Calculate the number of ULDs of baggage required and inform the baggage team.
• Complete the load plan.
• Fill out the General Deck List when required by certain carriers.
• Retrieve flight plans.
• Obtain new time slots in case of delays.
• Collaborate with operations (OPS) to obtain final cockpit weights for load sheet preparation.
• Obtain the signed load plan from the ramp supervisor.
• Obtain the signed NOTOC from the captain.
• Ensure that the flight is in PD mode.
• Create the load control file and ensure that all documents are filed according to the checklist.
• Ensure that all flight-related messages are transmitted in accordance with carrier requirements.
• Inform the freight warehouse of any cargo unloaded from the aircraft.
• Transmit flight statistics in accordance with carrier requirements.
• Perform any other reasonable task that is requested.
• Ensure that all employees adhere to health, safety, and security policies and procedures, since safety and security are the responsibility of each employee.
