We are looking for an Administrative Assistant for our Montreal office.

In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for providing legal and administrative support to teams of legal assistants, lawyers, and paraprofessionals in various practice areas. The successful candidate must demonstrate initiative, have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and wish to work within a culture that prioritizes customer service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review and correct routine correspondence, letters, and other documents/forms related to practice, as instructed.
  • Open files and follow firm protocols, including conflict checks.
  • Prioritize workload to ensure precise work is completed on time.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including timekeeping and billing.
  • Work closely with other internal departments/services to meet client needs.
  • Organize files, both electronic and paper, as needed.
  • Manage the schedules and emails of legal professionals, as needed.
  • Other tasks, as needed.

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in secretarial studies or Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in office administration with a legal profile or any other relevant combination of education/experience will be considered;
