We are looking for a Cyberlearning Specialist to join one of our offices.
The Cyberlearning Specialist promotes a culture of continuous learning throughout the firm through cyberlearning. As a member of the professional development team, the person holding this position will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining digital learning solutions to support the firm's learning objectives.
Main Responsibilities: Cyberlearning Activities Design and Development
- Design cyberlearning programs, microlearning resources, job aids, and engaging videos focused on participants using Articulate Storyline, Rise, and other content creation tools.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to determine activity content.
- In collaboration with the Team Lead, Pedagogical Design, design scenarios and scripts.
- Design interactive learning activities, quizzes, and assessments to accurately verify knowledge and understanding.
- Participate in evaluation cycles and incorporate feedback from subject matter experts and stakeholders.
- Apply adult learning principles and best practices in learning experience design to maximize participant engagement and knowledge retention.
- Resolve issues that arise during the design phase.
- Troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ensure learning content complies with accessibility standards and brand guidelines.
- Publish and test modules to ensure functionality and accurate tracking of progress and results in the learning management system.
- Once programs are launched, measure participant engagement and the effectiveness of cyberlearning programs using evaluations, surveys, and analytics. Formulate improvement recommendations for future versions.
- Manage multiple cyberlearning projects simultaneously to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are submitted.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cyberlearning modules through content updates, evaluations, and activities.
- Evaluate courses developed by third parties.
- Document procedures for future project use.
- Monitor new learning technologies and innovative approaches to enhance cyberlearning experiences.
- Training During Deployments
- Collaborate with the project team to design cyberlearning content and support the deployment of new applications.
- Mobilize stakeholders to align expectations and enable successful implementation.
- Work with the project team to find reasonable solutions to issues encountered during deployments.
- Learning Management System
- Upload course content to the learning management system and maintain it.
- Contribute to the implementation and administration of the learning management system.
What You Bring to Miller Thomson
- Bachelor's degree in adult education, pedagogy, or technology, and more than three years of experience as a teacher or trainer.
- Experience in the legal field is an asset.
- Proficiency in both French and English is required.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, learning experience design, pedagogical design, and cyberlearning experience design.
- Ability to understand technical subjects and quickly master new technologies.
- Knowledge of SCORM, AICC, or Tin Can standards, as well as applicable accessibility standards for cyberlearning.
- Required technical skills: Articulate Storyline, Rise, video content creation and editing, HTML5, learning management systems, proficiency in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Compensation:
We offer one of the best compensation programs in the market, with an annual salary ranging from $66,352 to $96,036.
The final salary will be determined based on the employee's workplace and may vary according to their qualifications, skills, and market trends, while respecting internal and external salary equity standards.
