Job Context

In support of our aerospace client, we are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to contribute to the operational readiness of production equipment.

The position is based in Mirabel (Quebec), within a team dedicated to industrial means and production infrastructure maintenance. The selected individual will work in collaboration with maintenance, production teams, and various technical stakeholders to ensure the availability and reliability of industrial equipment.

Main Responsibilities

The technician will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities on mechanical equipment, identifying failure causes, and participating in continuous improvement of installations.

Key Activities

• Diagnose equipment failures and perform troubleshooting on industrial equipment.
• Conduct preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance interventions.
• Document performed interventions and complete maintenance reports.
• Use a GMAO software for tracking interventions, searching for parts, and consulting plans and procedures.
• Participate in failure analyses to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Communicate with equipment suppliers and manufacturers when required.
• Participate in optimizing maintenance methods and continuous improvement of equipment.
• Update maintenance schedules, technical plans, and associated documents in collaboration with reliability teams.
• Contribute to updating locking procedures and safety documents.
• Participate in modifications, improvements, and upgrades to industrial equipment.

Desired Profile

• Diploma in Industrial Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role in industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge in diagnosing and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• Experience with computer-assisted maintenance management systems (GMAO).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
• Autonomy, diligence, and analytical mindset.
• Good ability to work in a team within a manufacturing environment.

Assets
