Electromechanical Technician - Evening and Night Shift

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Electromechanical Technician is responsible for responding to emergency calls regarding production and building machinery. Between service calls, the electromechanical technician must organize their tasks and manage priorities based on the team's daily objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshoot, modify, and inspect various mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment in the plant, effectively and autonomously;
• Apply safety procedures and standards during interventions;
• Respond promptly to service calls from operators and supervisors;
• Perform preventive maintenance activities and complete predefined work orders in the preventive maintenance software;
• Analyze and diagnose problems related to their area of expertise, then provide solutions and carry out interventions to resolve them;
• Perform effective repairs that last over time, with knowledge of related consequences;
• Master recurring repairs of our equipment and modify them to completely stop problems;
• Provide ideas for improvement regarding equipment and their efficiency.
• Required Education and Experience
• DEP or DEC in automated electromechanical systems or industrial mechanics;
• Required experience: Junior (0-3 years) – Intermediate (3-5 years) – Senior (5 years and +);
• Knowledge of programming (asset).
