We are currently looking for a Massage Therapist for our Kinatex L'Ormière Clinic. Located in Neufchâtel, our multidisciplinary clinic includes physiotherapists, physiotherapy technicians, osteopaths, massage therapists, kinesiologists, and ergotherapists.

Established for over 12 years, it benefits from a loyal and varied clientele, ranging from sports clientele to the general population, including pediatric and geriatric clientele. We offer several specialized services, such as perineal and pelvic reeducation, manual therapy, running analysis, Bike Fit, and treatment of ATM disorders.

Your Responsibilities

  • Become familiar with the client's medical questionnaire
  • Prepare the room according to current sanitary norms
  • Welcome the client and conduct a subjective evaluation to determine the client's objectives and expectations
  • Provide specific massage therapy treatment according to the client's objectives and your expertise and techniques
  • Ensure the client's comfort and satisfaction throughout the treatment
  • Provide advice and education following the treatment session
  • Recommend the frequency of follow-ups and explain the massage therapy treatment plan
  • Complete the evolutionary notes in the file and other administrative tasks
  • Communicate with other team professionals in the case of interdisciplinary care

Our Competencies Sought

  • Hold a diploma in massage therapy from a recognized school
  • Be a member of a professional association
  • Have two to four years of experience in massage therapy (required)
  • Interest in developing skills and perfecting expertise (pregnancy massage, cupping, fasciatherapy, and others)
  • Sense of initiative, autonomy, and patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Have completed training in deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage, sports massage, and chair massage
  • Have completed 1000 hours of training (required)

Schedule

  • Full-time: 20 to 25 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday-Wednesday and Thursday evenings, Friday daytime, with the possibility of Saturday daytime
