Our finance team is recruiting! Will you be our next colleague who will mainly be responsible for the accounting treatment of vendor accounts? This position in the team might appeal to you, as you will participate in various accounting operations of the department, such as internal control programs, the budgeting process, and the analyses necessary for the preparation of financial statements.

YOUR PLAYING FIELD

• Track accounts payable, verify and record invoices;
• check employee expense accounts and their compliance with policies and regulations;
• participate in the monthly closing of financial statements, the demarcation of expenses and the calculation of incurred expenses;
• perform end-of-period and end-of-year analyses of your area of activity;
• perform accounting and budgetary entries, as well as the integration of sales import files from different sites;
• prepare detailed analysis reports;
• verify commercial site sales reports as well as operational statistics;
• implement the internal control programs established by the chief accountant and document the work;
• participate in the budgeting process and the establishment of projections;
• participate in the implementation of systems or improvement of your area of activity;
• ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and pricing policies;
• perform, if necessary, any other related tasks.
• YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS, PARTICULAR CONDITIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
• Technical college diploma (DEC) in accounting or accounting and management;
• more than 3 years of relevant experience in connection with the responsibilities of the position;
• proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel intermediate level);
• rigor and meticulousness;
• autonomy, initiative, judgment, sense of responsibility;
• team spirit and facility to communicate.

Class 8 / $24.73 to $40.78 per hour ($45,008 to $74,219) according to relevant experience (12 steps)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Working Hours: Flexible schedules and possibility of telecommuting.

Annual Vacation: 4 weeks per year. For the first year, vacation days accumulate at a rate of 1 2/3 paid vacation days per full month of continuous service. Possibility of financing 1 to 2 additional weeks of vacation.

Holidays: 13 paid holidays, of which 6 are used during the holiday season.

Mobile Leave: One day per year.

Sick Leave:

Credit of 5.25 hours per month worked up to a maximum of 63 hours for the period from April 1 to March 31.

ABOUT THE OLYMPIC PARK

Created on November 1, 2020, the Olympic Park (Society for the Development and Enhancement of the Olympic Park) replaces and modernizes the mission of the Olympic Facilities Agency (1975-2020). It has the dual mandate to develop, manage, promote and operate its facilities, as well as to enhance its heritage and Olympic legacy.

The Olympic Park manages five main assets: the Olympic Stadium, the largest amphitheater in the country, the Montreal Tower, the tallest inclined tower in the world, the Sports Center, the main aquatic and sports training center in Canada, the Esplanade and the outdoor areas, a gathering place and venue for major events in the metropolitan area, as well as one of the largest underground parking garages in the country.

A bold architectural creation by Roger Taillibert, the Olympic Park was built both for the presentation of the 1976 Summer Games and as the residence of the Montreal Expos baseball club (1977-2004). Since its inauguration, it has hosted thousands of sporting, cultural, social, civic and public events, thus shaping the history of Quebec's eventful past, with over 100 million visitors since its opening.

On the eve of its 50th anniversary, this great park in the east end of the metropolitan area has an undeniable patrimonial value, which is expressed in four main aspects: historical, architectural, urban and iconic.
