ZSCALER NETWORK SECURITY TOOL SPECIALIST

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Network Security Tool Specialist for Zscaler to join our team of advisors at our Quebec or Montreal office as a permanent position.

This position is hybrid. 2 days per week at the Quebec or Montreal office.

Acting as a consultant for Chrome Technologies, the candidate will work with our clients on the projects they have entrusted us with.

The organization is looking for a product expert specializing in network security and the Zscaler platform to support operational, optimization, and modernization activities in security environments.

The resource will work on complex mandates related to telecommunications, cyber defense, Zero Trust architectures, and infrastructure automation.

They will also play an advisory role to security, telecommunications, and infrastructure teams in the context of reducing technical debt and improving operational practices.

TASKS: Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement action plans related to security and operational objectives
• Coordinate and carry out technical mandates under their responsibility
• Identify opportunities for correction and optimization of environments
• Ensure the update of data and technical documentation
• Provide specialized technical support for incidents and complex requests
• Maintain contact with technology suppliers and partners
• Perform advanced configuration and maintenance activities related to telecommunications and cyber defense
• Take on critical issues and ensure their resolution
• Conduct proactive monitoring of environments to prevent incidents and security posture regressions
• Design or improve tools and processes to increase:

• Contribute to post-mortems of major incidents
• Participate in the modernization of physical and virtual infrastructures
• Participate in operational automation initiatives
• Diagnose complex issues with security and telecommunications teams

• Participate in deployment and monitoring activities of changes (day, evening, night, or weekend as needed)
• Support and develop less experienced team members
• Proactively transfer knowledge

REQUIREMENTS

• Expertise in Zero Trust security environments of type Zscaler
• Very good understanding of HTTP, TLS protocols, and associated cyber defense principles
• Knowledge of firewall rules and security policies
• Infrastructure automation and CI/CD experience:
