Brief description of the position:

To meet the needs of its clients in the IT sector, FOP EXPERTS CONSEILS is seeking motivated IT Project Management Consultants to take part in various assignments. The main responsibilities include coordinating the different phases of the project lifecycle (implementation of technological solutions) for clients, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables, and contributing to various continuous improvement initiatives related to IT processes and systems.

Main responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage projects related to the implementation of technological solutions;
• Define project scope, participate in budget development, and plan schedules;
• Oversee solution deployment by implementing progress tracking using both agile and traditional methodologies;
• Identify and coordinate the allocation of IT resources and carry out project activities;
• Ensure that all stakeholders understand the objectives, project methodology framework, deliverable requirements, and that client expectations are met;
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure deliverables are completed on time;
• Provide regular updates on project progress to senior management;
• Prepare periodic reports and metrics to simplify information and provide clear visibility on all aspects surrounding the implementation of the technological solution;
• Mediate, when necessary, to resolve conflicts among project team members;
• Act as a subject matter expert throughout all phases of the project.

Qualifications

• Have at least twelve (12) years of experience as a project management advisor in the field of information technology, related to the required activities and deliverables.
• Have managed, over the past six (6) years, at least two large-scale projects of approximately 1,500 person-days, with a minimum direct contribution of 220 person-days, in a comparable technological environment.
• Have five (5) years of experience in planning and using the following tools: Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, and Power BI, or similar tools.
• Have used Microsoft Project (MS Project) for at least 200 person-days in project management assignments.
• Hold a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Demonstrate strong communication and writing skills in both French and English.
