- Tasks
- Bend, cut, roll, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape metals to manufacture parts or products
- Set up, adjust, and operate one or more metal forming machines or equipment
- Read and interpret plans, schematics, and drawings
- Grind and polish joints, fittings, and rough surfaces
- Analyze and record instrument readings and material defects
- Check and inspect the quality of the produced material
