As an Electrical Line Verifier Assembler with our client Hydro-Québec: Your Responsibilities

  • Appropriate the project requirements and their particularities such as technical, environmental, quality, and safety and participate in the elaboration of monitoring programs;
  • Participate in the writing of the contractor's quality plan comments;
  • Implement monitoring programs to ensure the application of the contractor's quality plan and the compliance of the work;
  • Fill out and follow up on quality, environment, health, and safety documents;
  • Participate in the writing of non-conformity reports following the monitoring of work and ensure their follow-up;
  • Participate in the writing and processing of reports necessary for all work, such as work progress, supply follow-up, labor, equipment, additional work, property and environmental damage, technical defects, questions, technical modifications (QMT), and those related to quality system procedures;
  • Verifier-Assembler: Climb into pylons and structures to verify the assembly, erection, and installation of conductors during construction;
  • Follow up on technical documents with the help of computer tools;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • Your Profile
  • DEP in transmission line assembly;
  • Experience in line assembly;
  • Possess the following training: work at height and height rescue (an asset);
  • Be available for travel throughout Quebec;
  • Experience in verifying steel structures;
  • Hold a valid driver's license (class 5);
  • Have knowledge of computer tools and MS Office family software;
  • Master the spoken and written French language;
  • Hold the ASP Construction training;
  • You are proactive, autonomous, and responsible.
