Summary of Duties
The incumbent delivers and picks up packages to and from residential and (or) commercial properties. The incumbent performs tasks in a physically demanding environment where activities occur at a fast pace, requiring vehicle operation and constant package transport and handling.
The incumbent practices safe transportation methods during trips to and from residential or commercial properties. The incumbent ensures the best possible customer service by focusing on efficiency and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently.
- Learn and properly implement UPS's preventive driving methods.
- Salary: 19.00/h
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 7 am to Noon
Required Skills
- Adheres to UPS's appearance guidelines
- Excellent customer contact and driving skills
- Able to lift up to 32 kg (70 lb) without assistance and up to 68 kg (150 lb) with assistance
- Capable of navigating and using road maps
- Must be at least 21 years old (for insurance purposes)
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license
- All candidates must provide their driver's license before taking the road test
- Must have a driver's license with the following conditions:
- a) No accidents you were responsible for in the last 3 years
- b) No violations for the current year (12 months) and no more than two violations in the previous three years (36 months).
