Your main responsibilities

Reporting to the controller, you will actively participate in the company's accounting operations, including:

• Performing end-of-month and end-of-year entries;
• Conducting account reconciliations and necessary analyses;
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements;
• Monitoring accounting transactions and expenses;
• Collaborating with different departments to obtain the necessary information for processing files;
• Analyzing discrepancies and proposing solutions;
• Contributing to the improvement of processes and work tools.

You possess

• A DEC in accounting or equivalent recognized training;
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting in Quebec;
• Strong knowledge of the complete accounting cycle;
• Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, and linked files);
• Functional English to occasionally communicate with different stakeholders.
