Automacad inc. is looking for a Controller to take charge of accounting, support strategic decisions, and actively contribute to the optimization of our financial processes.

As a Controller, you will be a trusted business partner to the management. Reporting to the VP of administration and finance, you will ensure the sound management of accounting and financial activities while participating in the continuous improvement of our processes and management tools. You will operate in a collaborative environment, close to the operations, where your expertise will have a concrete impact on the company's growth.

Your challenges
- Plan and control with rigor and efficiency all accounting and multi-currency treasury activities (operating company and management company);
- Supervise and train the accounting team (one accounting technician and one payable clerk), fostering a collaborative work environment;
- Supervise and participate in the complete accounting cycle, produce various reports and analyses to guide business decisions;
- Participate in various special projects related to the implementation and/or optimization of business processes;
- Support the year-end process, annual inventory count, audits, and other government obligations;
- File quarterly TPS-TVQ declarations;
- Verify, produce, and account for payroll; file annual declarations;
- Supervise the production of shipping documents including customs compliance;
- Collaborate with the external accounting firm.
- Your Profile:
To stand out in the position, you must be a rigorous person recognized for your attention to detail, sense of detail, and excellent analytical skills. Team spirit and leadership are undoubtedly part of your DNA.
Additionally, you must meet the following requirements
- Bachelor's degree in administration, accounting option, and hold the CPA title;
- At least 3 years of relevant experience;
- Excellent Excel skills (PowerQuery mastery, an asset);
- Mastery of the MS365 environment and ease of working with an integrated management software (ERP);
- Bilingual, French and English both orally and in writing (our clients, partners, and suppliers are worldwide).
- *This position requires on-site work. Our facilities are located in Candiac.*
- *English proficiency is required for this position, as the company collaborates with international partners. The selected candidate will be called to communicate regularly with these partners, both orally and in writing.*
