We are currently looking for a Tax Advisor - Indirect Taxes to join our teams in Lévis, Sainte-Marie, Saint-Georges, or Thetford Mines.

As a Tax Advisor - Indirect Taxes, you will be responsible for
- Advising clients on issues related to indirect taxes (GST/HST, QST, and other sales taxes)
- Answering tax questions from clients and internal teams
- Analyzing complex issues and recommending suitable solutions
- Accompanying clients during inspections and audits conducted by tax authorities
- Conducting technical research on indirect taxes
- Writing tax opinions, technical memos, and interpretation requests
- Participating in due diligence verification assignments regarding indirect tax compliance
- Preparing and presenting training sessions for clients and internal teams
- Developing and updating the department's tools and reference guides
- Collaborating with various teams as an indirect tax specialist
- Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes
- Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of the tax department's practices
The ideal profile for our future colleague
- Hold a specialization in taxation (2nd cycle degree in taxation or In-Depth Tax Course)
- Possess 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in taxation, preferably in indirect taxes
- Show a strong interest in taxation and a particular passion for indirect taxes
- Build trust through excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrate rigor, autonomy, and excellent organizational skills in managing files
- Possess strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Show a critical thinking and a constant concern for providing solutions tailored to clients' needs
- Be motivated by continuous learning and the development of your tax expertise
