The VL Group is a growing network of pharmacies with several locations across the Greater Quebec, Chaudière-Appalaches, and Bas-Saint-Laurent regions.

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Finance Director who will act as a strategic partner to the pharmacy owners & associates and actively contribute to the growth of the VL Group.
? Salary: Starting from $120,000 per year
Your Role
Reporting to the associates, you will oversee the overall financial management of the organization while supporting managers in decision-making.
You will play a key role in improving processes, tracking financial performance, and strategic planning of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership
- Supervise all accounting and financial activities of the Group.
- Ensure the integrity of financial statements and management reports.
- Lead and motivate the accounting and payroll team.
- Participate in the evolution of the organization's financial structure.
Analysis and Performance
- Develop and analyze financial performance indicators.
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor their execution.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and cost control.
- Support associates in making strategic decisions.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory obligations.
- Coordinate external audits and relationships with financial partners.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
- Participate in managing the organization's financial risks.
Organizational Development
- Optimize administrative and financial processes.
- Participate in acquisition, integration, and growth projects.
- Contribute to digital transformation and continuous improvement of financial practices.
Desired Profile
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA designation (a significant asset).
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Experience in team management.
- Excellent analytical and financial communication skills.
- Strategic vision and strong ability to positively influence decisions.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented, and continuous improvement approach.
