We are looking for a school secretary, working 35 hours per week at the primary school Capitaine-Luc-Fortin, Henryville building.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM (one-hour lunch break).
Salary: Between $26.15 and $31.06 per hour (depending on training and experience).
Challenges you will face
- Plan and organize secretarial work to ensure compliance with administrative obligations and deadlines;
- Follow directives, respond to requests, and transmit information in the absence of the administration;
- Participate in budget management, maintain accounting books, make payments, and manage petty cash;
- Manage the purchase of equipment: gather needs, check prices, prepare orders, and distribute items;
- Manage the school supply store, conduct inventory of equipment and library books, and coordinate repair requests and tracking of school and administrative materials;
- Coordinate teacher replacements as needed;
- Keep administrative and school files up to date: student registrations and classification, staff and student attendance, report cards, exams, temporary staff payroll, school transportation, production and transmission of required reports;
- Support students when needed, transmit urgent messages, handle certain emergencies, and provide first aid when necessary.

Desired profile
- Professional studies diploma in secretarial work OR;
- Secondary school diploma (DES) or equivalent AND;
- Four (4) years of relevant experience.

- French (text writing and linguistic code)
