Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer / Financial Controller, the incumbent of this position acts as the main analyst of business performance. Positioned at the heart of finance and manufacturing operations, his/her essential mission is to ensure the consistency and rigor of the group's financial results. Thanks to his/her fine understanding of the plant's reality, he/she excels at detecting anomalies in financial statements, validating the integrity of inventories, and translating field discrepancies into clear indicators for the executive team.
Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Cycle Management and Anomaly Detection
- Take charge of the entire monthly and annual closing process (account analyses, balancing, journal entries, and reconciliations).
- Prepare and review the group's monthly and annual financial statements.
- Act as a watchdog: Analyze in depth the balance sheet and income statement items to quickly identify, investigate, and correct any accounting anomaly, inconsistency, or irregularity.
- Build and document rigorously the end-of-year verification file (audit).
- Ensure weekly cash flow tracking, collaborate on tax filings, and implement effective internal controls to secure data.
- 2. Inventory Consistency and Discrepancy Tracking
- Ensure rigorous control and validation of inventory valuation (raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods).
- Lead the cyclic count program to ensure stock accuracy and minimize end-of-year adjustments.
- Validate the financial logic of bill of materials (BOM) and ensure that production flows are correctly translated into the ERP system.
- Monthly analysis of manufacturing discrepancies (losses, labor efficiency, material prices) and flag any inconsistency compared to expected margins.
- 3. Performance Analysis and Strategic Support
- Produce and evolve financial and operational performance indicators (KPIs) in the form of visual reports for the executive team.
- Actively collaborate on the preparation, analysis, and tracking of annual budgets.
- Provide analytical support and advisory role to the Chief Financial Officer to illuminate strategic business decisions.

Absolute Requirement
- A hawk's eye for numbers: Solid practical experience of at least 5 years in financial analysis within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating the ability to analyze financial statements and detect anomalies.
Technical Skills & Assets
- Education: College diploma (DEC) or bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field. We prioritize business logic and field experience over professional titles.
- Languages: Advanced English proficiency to navigate easily in a group context.
- Tools: Superior Excel skills (analysis of large datasets) and functional experience with a manufacturing ERP system (software adaptability valued).
