Under the supervision of the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), the incumbent will primarily work closely as a business partner with the various divisions and play an essential role in the budgeting, forecasting, financial information, cost accounting, and continuous improvement processes.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Participate in periodic financial analyses;
- Participate in the annual budgeting process and build continuous forecasting models for business units;
- Participate in maintaining and developing automated dashboards and other useful information for the executive team;
- Participate in bridging the gap between the Finance team and operations, particularly regarding cost accounting;
- Provide support in understanding financial data for decision-making;
- Participate in the development and continuous improvement of business case models and the submission process;
- Support the department in preparing monthly presentations for management and documents for the board of directors;
- Support the senior FP&A Director in special projects and ad hoc assignments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting or a related field would be an asset;
- Proficiency in advanced functions of Office suite software (Excel and Access);
- Knowledge of a BI tool would be an asset;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Excellent priority and timeline management;
- Team spirit and collaboration;
- Attention to detail, autonomy, and rigor;
- Bilingual (an asset).
- Hybrid work: Fixed days in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
