Your Role
As a Technical Designer, you will play a central role in the realization of high-end residential projects. As a technical reference within the team, you will ensure the consistency, feasibility, and rigor of each design, from initial analysis to production and installation.
You will be called upon to:
Technical Design & Solution Development
- Actively participate in the design of complex projects in collaboration with project managers and designers
- Analyze plans, estimates, and constraints to propose optimal, realistic solutions aligned with our excellence standards
- Develop advanced technical details: assemblies, anchoring systems, interfaces with other trades, lighting integration, etc.
- Ensure the technical consistency and feasibility of projects, from initial intent to manufacturing
Support to Internal Teams
- Support drafters in preparing workshop drawings by providing advice, technical guidance, and best practices
- Collaborate closely with project managers to anticipate technical challenges and reduce design risks
- Provide technical support to production and installation teams when required
Validation and Quality Control
- Review and approve technical drawings before transmission to clients or the production department
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, manufacturing capabilities, and contractual requirements
- Detect inconsistencies, potential errors, or missing information and recommend necessary adjustments
Communication and Documentation
- Communicate effectively in French and English with internal teams and external partners (architects, designers, consultants)
- Document technical solutions, standards, assembly methods, and best practices to enrich the company's knowledge base

We are looking for an experienced professional driven by technical rigor and a constant search for sustainable solutions.
Requirements
- DEP, DEC, or equivalent training in cabinetmaking, technical drawing, architectural design, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in architectural cabinetmaking or technical design in a similar context
- Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
- Excellent ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex architectural and interior design plans
- In-depth knowledge of materials: solid wood, veneers, MDF, specialized hardware, and architectural products
- Solid understanding of manufacturing methods in architectural cabinetmaking
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and anticipate manufacturing and installation constraints
- Comfort working in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to various stakeholders
- Rigor, autonomy, keen sense of organization, and technical leadership
- Knowledge of manufacturing optimization and process improvement
