YOUR MISSION: Your mission as a Municipal Technician on the team at the City of Amos:

  • Participate in the planning, design, implementation, and follow-up of municipal infrastructure projects (plans and estimates, quantities, documentation, technical drawings, etc.);
  • Ensure active presence on-site and get involved in municipal projects (surveys, installations, alignments, inspections, etc.);
  • Act as technical support for the municipal engineer and ensure rigorous follow-up of work, construction sites, and field interventions related to municipal infrastructure;
  • Facilitate communication between contractors, consultants, external participants, and municipal services to coordinate work and adhere to schedules;
  • Ensure the development and up-to-date maintenance of municipal asset management tools (geomatics, mapping, and databases).

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Hold a DEC in civil engineering technology or relevant training;
  • Have 3 years of experience in the field;
  • Be proficient in AutoCad, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office suite;
  • Be familiar with surveying instruments (Total Station and GPS);
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
