Here are the main responsibilities
- Participate in the analysis of business needs and the definition of technological solutions adapted to the challenges of collective insurance.
- Contribute to the understanding, documentation, and validation of business processes as well as functional and technical solutions.
- Analyze legacy systems, particularly IBM i environments, to support the evolution and integration of solutions.
- Understand batch processing, data flows, and application integrations necessary for the proper functioning of solutions.
- Perform code reading and analysis to support investigation, design, and evolution activities of systems.
- Write and execute SQL queries as well as various scripts necessary for analysis and validation.
- Actively participate in quality assurance activities, including the definition of test strategy, preparation of test scenarios, execution of functional and regression tests, as well as documentation of results and anomalies.
- Collaborate closely with business partners, development teams, quality assurance teams, and other IT stakeholders in an agile context.
- Contribute to the quality, traceability, and maintainability of deliverables throughout the delivery cycle.
- Participate in modernization, continuous improvement, and knowledge sustainability initiatives within the teams.
- Provide production support and contribute to the daily availability of applications.
- What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role
We are looking for a person who
- Holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration with an IT profile, or any other relevant field.
- Has a minimum of five to ten years of relevant experience in IBM i environments.
- Proactively, responsibly, and effectively uses artificial intelligence tools to optimize work, improve the quality of deliverables, and contribute to the continuous improvement of team practices and processes.
- Demonstrates a good understanding of batch processing and legacy systems.
- Has experience in IT project delivery, functional or technical analysis, and collaboration with multidisciplinary agile teams.
- Is recognized for their ability to analyze needs, document solutions, and contribute to the quality of deliverables.
- Has a good understanding of quality assurance practices, test case design, and execution of functional, integration, and regression tests.
- Stands out for their autonomy, rigor, curiosity, and synthesis spirit.
- Demonstrates a strong willingness for continuous learning and professional development.
- Has knowledge of the collective insurance domain.
- Has a good understanding of IT delivery tools and practices, including change management and deliverable documentation.
- Has a good knowledge of SQL databases and script execution.
- Mastery of modern software development approaches such as Agile, MVP, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), REST, SOAP.
- Shows a marked interest in modernization, continuous improvement, and knowledge sustainability.
- Knowledge of the collective insurance domain (important asset).
- Intermediate level of English language proficiency since the person will be required to communicate, analyze, and explain operational and technical issues to English-speaking business partners and users on a monthly basis.
