Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your main objective will be to ensure the proper functioning of the factory's prevention program and the optimization of work techniques related to OHS, quality, and productivity.
Your daily life among WE!
- Support the management in optimizing performance in health and safety and the environment;
- Manage all factory preventive maintenance activities by working closely with production, quality, and logistics staff;
- Establish a work preparation that will allow maintenance personnel to carry out effective and efficient interventions in safety;
- Optimize the available resources of the maintenance personnel;
- Optimize subcontracting work;
- Manage and improve the factory's preventive program;
- Create the plans and instructions required for the effective execution of maintenance activities, identify the required materials and equipment, estimate labor and material costs, and identify the interferences of activities within his sector and on the other sectors of the factory;
- Coordinate with the main actors of maintenance, the work planning process by organizing tasks by priority;
- Propose and communicate work plans using a weekly and monthly format;
- Schedule shifts, vacations, and on-call weeks;
- Maintain KPIs up to date, update time cards;
- Organize the process of acquiring the required resources and materials for major shutdowns in collaboration with the production, engineering, and quality departments;
- Perform on-call shifts on a rotating basis.
Skills to share with WE!
Hold a college degree in an appropriate field or a combination of education and experience deemed relevant;
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance team planning and project management is required for this position;
- Initiative, proactive, results-oriented;
- Must demonstrate a lot of autonomy;
- Developed interpersonal skills;
- Very good mechanical and electrical knowledge;
- Experience with Excel and GMO system;
- Good resource management skills, human, material, and financial;
- Very good ability to communicate ideas at various hierarchical levels;
- Analytical capacity;
- Experience in the food industry, an asset;
- Bilingualism, an asset.
