Pharmacy Technical Assistant

About the Position

We are looking for a Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The person will work under the direct supervision of the pharmacist and participate in the daily operations of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide courteous service
• Prepare and organize prescriptions according to established procedures
• Hand out medications to patients that have been previously verified and approved by the pharmacist
• Sort and store medications and supplies
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace
• Perform any other simple tasks related to pharmacy operations

• Ability to work in a team
• Experience in pharmacy (an asset)
