Blanche Neige Daycare is looking to welcome a new educator to its team! We are seeking a passionate individual who enjoys the diversity of tasks, teamwork, and an environment where the well-being of children is a top priority.

About the Position

You will hold a replacement position by ensuring the continuity of educational services across the daycare's various groups. You will be called upon to replace educators according to a pre-established schedule, while providing children with a stable, secure, and stimulating environment.

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Employment Type: One-year contract with the possibility of extension.

Schedule

• Daytime hours, Monday to Friday.
• Fixed rotation:
• One week of 5 days;
• The following week of 4 days.
• Known schedule in advance to facilitate work-life balance.
• Your Main Responsibilities
• Ensure replacements in the various groups of children.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the children.
• Plan and lead activities that promote their overall development.
• Assist children with their daily routines (meals, hygiene, play, transitions, etc.).
• Collaborate with educators and management to ensure the continuity of services.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment in compliance with the requirements of the Ministry of Family.
• Communicate professionally with parents when required.
• Desired Profile
• You enjoy working with young children.
• You demonstrate autonomy, flexibility, and excellent organizational skills.
• You are able to easily adapt to different age groups.
• You appreciate teamwork and contribute to creating a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• AEC or DEC in early childhood education (or a program in progress) is an asset.
• Experience in childcare, daycare, or CPE is an asset.
• Valid first aid training in early childhood (or commitment to obtain it).
• Criminal record check required.
• Good command of French, both spoken and written.
