Senior Investment Risk Advisor

Reporting to the Director, Risk Surveillance, Asset Management and Insurance, you are part of a strategic team of the 2nd line of defense. As a Senior Investment Risk Advisor, you support the senior management in identifying, evaluating, and managing risks related to the organization's investment portfolios, contributing to informed decision-making and value creation. You demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written, facilitating the clear and effective transmission of complex issues to various audiences. You possess strong experience in managing dynamic and strategic situations, as well as a recognized ability to deliver concrete results and generate tangible added value, thanks to high-level critical thinking. Additionally, your ability to produce strategic documents for executive instances such as the board of directors and the executive committee is an important element in this role to support decision-making at a higher level. More specifically, you will be tasked with:

• Developing and implementing investment risk management frameworks tailored to the organization's realities.
• Producing rigorous analyses and strategic recommendations for executive committees and the board of directors.
• Collaborating closely with investment, finance, and compliance teams to ensure an integrated view of risks.
• Monitoring the evolution of financial markets and regulatory trends to anticipate their impacts on portfolios.
• Exercising influential leadership among internal stakeholders to promote a proactive risk management culture.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, actuarial science, or a relevant discipline
• A minimum of eight years of relevant experience, including at least four years in portfolio management or investment risk management
• Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
• French language proficiency required
• Advanced English proficiency due to the nature of tasks, work tools, or interactions with anglophone partners, members, or clients
