Driver, Oil Services

GFL Environnemental is looking for a Class 1 FM driver to join the team collecting barrels, drums, and used oil in Lévis! The routes are mostly local, but the ideal candidate must be available for overnight stays for several days if needed.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive a closed-body truck and/or tractor and trailer;
• 50% driving and 50% manual work;
• Handling and retrieval of various containers;
• Completing various administrative documents;
• Adhere to the company's Health, Safety, and Environment standards;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Required Skills

• Valid Class 1 FM driver's license (mandatory);
• Excellent French written and spoken skills;
• Good physical condition, endurance, and ability to lift weights (maximum 50 pounds);
• Availability for multiple trips, sometimes lasting several days;
• Self-sufficiency;
• Health and safety-focused.

Work Environment

• Full-time permanent position with a daytime work schedule (starting at 6:00 am), Monday to Friday.
• Eligible for overtime after 40 hours only.
• Mostly local routes, but must be available for occasional overnight stays (mandatory).
• Majority of driving is manual.
