The Technical Advisor is primarily responsible for selling tires and mechanical services and providing after-sales service to the branch's clientele.

Here are the responsibilities you will be entrusted with

• Welcome customers and identify their tire needs;
• Provide advice during tire purchases and conclude sales;
• Assist mechanics in diagnosing vehicle issues;
• Place piece orders in the computerized system;
• Ensure the quality of executed work by performing road tests;
• Promote other company services during customer visits;
• Answer telephone calls regarding technical questions about tires or the progress of ongoing work;
• Produce an estimate of the work to be done on the vehicle;
• Invoice customers according to the work orders executed on the vehicles;
• Execute cash register closing procedures and produce daily reports.

Success Factors

• Technical Knowledge: Your minimum of 3 years of experience in the sales or advisory service domain, along with your extensive knowledge of the automotive industry, provides the necessary assets to fulfill these functions;
• Customer Service Orientation: You have a strong sales orientation and a flawless sense of customer service, always placing the client's needs at the heart of your actions;
• Interest in the Automotive Industry: Passionate about this domain, you demonstrate a good knowledge of mechanical principles and tires and strive to improve them constantly;
• Time Management: You are able to manage deadlines and make thoughtful decisions quickly;
• Bilingualism: You communicate perfectly in English and French and can provide sales and advisory services in both languages.

• Compensation: Up to $80,000 per year

• Mechanical Technical Advisory: 2 years (Mandatory)
