Under the supervision of the Human Resources team, the Talent Acquisition Intern participates in various recruitment activities and contributes to attracting the best talent for the organization. She supports the team in coordinating the staffing processes, candidate experience, and employer branding initiatives.
Your responsibilities 1. Recruitment and staffing:
- Conduct a needs analysis with managers;
- Write job postings and distribute them internally and externally;
- Proactively search for candidates on various recruitment platforms;
- Pre-screen received applications;
- Conduct selection interviews;
- Administer pre-employment tests (linguistic, computer, psychometric, etc.) and coordinate pre-employment medical visits, perform criminal and financial background checks, and obtain employment references;
- Communicate and follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process;
- Welcome and integrate new employees;
- 2. Support to managers
- Advise managers on their recruitment needs;
- Follow up on ongoing recruitment mandates;
- Participate in follow-up meetings with managers to discuss the progress of the processes.
- 3. Administration
- Maintain up-to-date recruitment files and update the Folks ATS;
- Follow up on administrative candidate files;
- Perform various administrative tasks related to talent acquisition;
- 4. Employer branding and talent attraction
- As needed, participate in the organization and coordination of recruitment activities, job fairs, and networking events.
Requirements
- Be a student in the final year of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration (Human Resources profile), or a related field.
Skills
- Good communication, discretion/confidentiality, autonomy, priority management, initiative, teamwork, organization. Knowledge of the Windows environment.
Assets
- Bilingualism and experience in a manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of the Folks ATS platform.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or other recruitment platforms.
Work schedule
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (desired)
- Full-time position with the possibility of extending the contract for a period of one year.
