Payroll Technician

Under the supervision of the Payroll Coordinator, the incumbent collaborates closely with the senior payroll technician and the team... to support activities related to payroll preparation.

Responsibilities

• Enter hours and other data from timesheets into the payroll system;
• Enter all personal information of new hires into the CMiC computer system;
• Produce various end-of-week payroll reports;
• Complete employee employment records;
• Obtain employment numbers and process terminations at the CCQ;
• Write employment confirmation letters for field employees;
• Respond to employee inquiries;
• Perform all other related tasks.

Education, Qualifications and Experience

• Possess an AEC or DEC in accounting;
• Have 1 to 3 years of experience in payroll processing;
• Have advanced English proficiency;
• Have in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
• Be efficient, meticulous, and rigorous;
• Have a good sense of organization and priorities.
