Warehouse Associate - Forklift Operator

Summary of the Position

Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for welcoming representatives from provincial sharing organizations in a refrigerated environment. Additionally, as needed, you may be called upon to support the team in selecting, receiving, storing, recording, and identifying food items. You will also need to ensure the cleanliness of your distribution area.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper execution of order preparation for the organizations under your responsibility;
• Organize the distribution area and the refrigerators dedicated to sharing, based on the selection of food items;
• Maintain the cleanliness of the distribution area and ensure the sorting and recycling of appropriate materials;
• Perform any other related tasks, as needed.
• Ensure excellent customer service;
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation rules;
• Enter data into the existing computer system;
• Perform any other related tasks, as needed.

Education/Experience/Certification

• High school diploma;
• Min. 1 year of relevant experience;
• Valid forklift operator's license

Skills and Abilities

• Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment;
• Self-motivated;
• Initiative;
• Customer service and commitment;
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge
• Knowledge of the food industry (an asset);
• Very good oral French;
• Intermediate spoken English;
• Ability to use technological tools (phone, inventory management system, Outlook).
