• Your main responsibilities
• As a front desk agent in Saint-Hyacinthe, you will contribute to:
• Welcoming guests with courtesy and professionalism
• Standing in front of the clientele, in uniform and with badge
• Handling arrivals, departures, billing and payments
• Responding to guest requests (in person, by phone or email)
• Providing information about the hotel and local attractions
• Contributing to sales: applying corporate agreements and promoting services
• Coordinating groups, contracts and events (logistics, lists, breaks, follow-ups)
• Ensuring smooth communication with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintaining order, cleanliness and safety in the reception area
• Working safely, ensuring the safety of guests and colleagues
• Managing priorities and high-pressure situations with professionalism
• Representing the IHG brand with professionalism, punctuality and proactivity, through required training
• Working as a team with autonomy, versatility and diligence
• Night Auditor

As a night auditor at Holiday Inn Express & Suites-Saint-Hyacinthe, you will contribute to:

• Welcoming the guest and handling administrative formalities required by the hotel;
• Planning and organizing reservations from emails and phone calls while keeping track of available rooms;
• Maximizing upsell opportunities;
• Ensuring the accuracy (balancing) of the day's cash boxes, writing reports and making deposits at the end of the shift;
• Closing the day in the system;
• Checking reports and reporting any anomalies to the Reception Director
• Scheduling wake-up calls;
• Distributing "express check out" folios;
• Conducting floor and public area tours;
• Ensuring guest safety at night;
• Informing the guest about cultural and culinary activities as needed and making reservations when necessary;
• Responding to guest complaints and ensuring follow-ups.

What we are looking for

• Excellent customer service
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Knowledge of the HOTELKEY software (an asset)
